 Rahane along with Jos Buttler came to open the innings for Rajasthan but Buttler couldn’t get rid of Rashid Khan and departed by Rashid on 5 of 8 balls with a four. Rahane started the innings slow run rate but accelerated later on along with Sanju Samson who played extra odinary innings and built a partnership of 119 runs for the 2nd wicket and Rahane departed by Shahbaz Nadeem after scoring a brilliant 70 runs (4 fours, 3 sixes) of 49 balls. Samson batted flawlessly and completed his 2nd IPL century and help the team to set a score of 198-2 in 20 overs with his unbeaten innings of 102 runs (10 fours, 4) sixes of 55 balls.

  David Warner came to open along with Bairstow and played a superhit innings and set a back to back century partnership where David Warner scored 69 runs (9 fours, 2 sixes) of 37 balls and was departed by Ben Stokes. Bairstow  played a very good supporting role and scored 45 runs (6 fours, 1 six). Kane Williamson played some huge shots but was departed by Unadkat on 13 runs of 9 balls. Shankar took the match away from RR by his destructive 35 runs (1 four, 3 sixes) of 15 balls but Shreyas Gopal with his back to back 2 wicket make the match exciting but at the end of the innings Yousuf and Rashid made SRH to the match by 5 wickets in 19 overs.
