 The 30th Match of VIVO IPL Season 12, SRH vs DC was played on Super Sunday 14th April 2019 in Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Sunrisers won the toss and elected to bowl first.

 The start for DC was not as expected as the openers couldn’t do much and departed early but even after losing 2 quick wickets, DC managed to score 51 runs in the powerplay as the partnership between Colin Munro and Shreyas Iyer helped team to revive where Munro scored 40 runs (4 fours, 3 sixes) of 24 balls and was sent back to pavilion by Abhishek Sharma. Another partnership between Shreyas Iyer and Rishab Pant of 56 runs but the back to back  wicket of Shreyas Iyer on 45 runs (5 fours) of 40 balls by Bhuvneswar Kumar and Rishab Pant on 23 runs (3 fours) of 19 balls by Khaleel Ahmed restricted DC on 155-7 in 20 overs.

Khaleel Ahmed was magnificent with the bowl and picked 3 wickets in his 4 overs conceding 30 run, Bhuvneswar Kumar picked 2 wickets, Abhishek Sharma and Rashid Khan got one wicket each.

 David Warner and Jonny Bairstow once again gave a decent start to the team and scored 40 runs in the powerplay without losing a single wicket. Both of them were looking good and scored 72 runs in 9.5 overs but Keemo Paul gave the break through and picked 3 back to back wickets of Jonny Bairstow on 41 runs (5 fours, 1 six) of 31 balls and Kane Williamson on 3 of 8 balls and Ricky Bhui on 7 of 12 balls. David Warner too departed after completing another half century with 51 runs (3 fours, 1 six) of 47 balls by Rabada. After Warner’s wickets no other batsman could score runs and lost wickets continuously. Keemo Paul and Rabada wrapped up the team SRH on 116-10 in 18.5 overs where Rabada picked 4 wickets in his 3.5 overs conceding 22 runs only, Keemo Paul and Chris Morris picked 3 wickets each and helped the team to win the match by 39 runs.

Keemo Paul got the Player of the match award for picking 3 important wickets of top order batsman conceding only 17 runs of his 4 overs in 30th Match of VIVO IPL Season 12, SRH vs DC in Hyderabad.
