Latest cricket news of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 is that England who were the most favorite team to win the world cup became the new World champions by beating New Zealand in the thrilling final match with some luck and hard work which helped England to win their first  world cup title in the cricket history and became the 6th team to do so. New Zealand were quite unfortunate to lose the match even after a brilliant performance in the match.

The Final match between England and New Zealand was played on Super Sunday 14 July 2019 in Lord’s London. New Zealand won the crucial toss and elected to bat first but couldn’t utilize the advantage of batting first and kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Kane Williamson who was the highest  run scorer in the tournament for Kiwis became the captain to score highest individual run in any ICC Cricket World Cup with 578 runs in 11 innings  and he got out after scoring 30 runs of 53 balls  and Henry Nichols 55 runs (4 fours) of 77 balls and Tom Latham’s 47 runs (2 fours, 1 six)  of 56 balls helped Kiwis to score a fighting total of 241-8 in 50 overs.

                         The English bowlers bowled tight lines and didn’t allowed any partnership to grow. Chris Woakes and Liam Plunkett picked 3 crucial wickets each, Jofra Archer and Mark Wood got 1 wicket each.

               The target was quite competitive and the kiwi bowlers bowled beautifully and picked some quick wickets to put England under pressure but the partnership of 110 runs of 130 balls between Ben Stokes and Jos Butler helped England to get back on track but with the wicket of Jos Butler who scored 59 runs (6 fours) of 60 ballsNew Zealand are on top to win the match but Ben Stokes kept the match alive and the overthrow in the last over gifted 5 extra runs which shifted the momentum towards England but 2 consecutive run outs ends up the match on a tie as England were bowled out on 241 in 50 overs and Ben Stokes remained unbeaten on 84 runs (5 fours, 2 sixes) in 98 balls.

           The bowlers bowled brilliantly to restrict England on 241-10 in 50 overs where Lockie Ferguson and Jimmy Neesham picked 3 wickets each and Colin de Grandhomme and Matt Henry got 1 wicket each.

 The match was then to be decided by a super over. Both the team faced 6 balls each with 2 wickets in hand. For England Ben Stokes and Jos Butler came in bat against Trent Boult and score 15 runs in the over and New Zealand need 16 runs to win.

                     It’s Jimmy Neesham and Martin Guptil who came in to chase 16 runs and Neesham scored 14 runs in 5 balls with a six and required just 2 runs to win and Guptil was on strike who was not in a great form connects the yorker well but couldn’t complete the 2nd run and got out by brilliant throw by Jason Roy  tied the match up and England won the match by virtue of highest count of boundaries in the match. Despite of a magnificent effort  New Zealand couldn’t cross the finishing line and the title slipped in 2nd consecutive final.

And England create history and became the 6th team to win the ICC Cricket World Cup for their country and Eoin Morgan lift the World Cup for very first time for England.

The world cup 2019 semi-final 2, Australia vs England was played on 11th july in Birmingham where the defending champion Australia won the toss and elected to bat first and the decision to bat doesn’t work for the team as they 3 quick wickets and Warner who was the highest run getter for the team could score only 9 runs than a partnership between Steven Smith and Alex Carey who batted even after he got injured in the short ball of Jofra Archer. They built a partnership of 103 runs and Alex got out after scoring 46 runs and once again the batting collapsed in the match and as a result of which Australia was wrapped out on 223 runs in 49 overs despite of a brilliant Inning played by Steven Smith where he scored 85 runs (6 fours) of 119 balls.

The English bowlers were on fire and didn’t allow any batsman to free their arms. Chris Woakes picked 3 crucial wickets conceding only 20 runs in his 8 overs, Adil Rashid got 3 along with Jofra who picked 2 wickets and Mark Wood got 1 wicket.

                 The target  looked quite competitive but the opening partnership of 119 runs between Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow lead England to qualify for the finals after 27 years and Australia got their first semi- final defeat in world cup history.

A great set back for team India as one of the most of am to win the world cup  2019 was knocked outfavorites te in the semi final 1 by New Zealand who finished the league matches at no. 4 and the runner up of 2015 qualifies again in the finals by beating team India by 18 runs.

New Zealand played brilliantly and set a total of 239-8 in 50 overs where the skipper Williamson scored 67 runs (6 fours) of 95 balls and than the most experienced player of the  team Ross Taylor scored the the most crucial 74 runs (3 fours, 1 six) of 90  balls which helped the team to reach that competitive total.

          The bowlers done their job beautifully for team India and restricted Kiwis at a score of 239 where Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 3 wickets conceding 43 runs in his 10 overs and Bumrah, Chahal, Hardik and Jadeja picked 1 wicket each. 
 The total set by New Zealand was not so huge and seemed too easy for team India but the New Zealand bowlers made it difficult by departing the top 3 batsman at their individual score of 1 run especially Matt Henry who picked the wicket of the most consistent batsman Rohit Sharma and Kl Rahul along with the wicket of  Dinesh Kartik and Trent Boult picked the wicket of Virat Kohli. 
Later on Rishab Pant and Hardik Pandya tried to built a partnership but Mitchell Santner made them play loose shots and depart one after another at the score of 32 runs each. At a point team India was in big trouble as they lost 6 wickets at a total of 92 runs.

Then Ravindra Jadeja walks in to bat along with MS Dhoni and played a brilliant knock and scored runs at a strike rate of 130 but the team was quite unfortunate to loose the wicket of Jadeja at a crucial point in the 48th over where he score 77 runs (4 fours, 4 sixes) of 59 balls. And at very next over MS Dhoni got out by a match changing throw by Martin Guptil and all the hopes for team India ruined and the team was wrapped out at 221-10 in 49.3 overs.

   Matt Henry was the most successfully bowler for New Zealand and got the Player of the match award where he picked 3 wickets conceding 37 runs with 2 maiden overs. Trent Boult picked two most important wickets at a crucial point along with Santner, Lockie Ferguson and Jamesh Neesham got 1 wicket at the end. And thus New Zealand qualifies for the finals on 14th of July 2019 with a brilliant team performance

Rohit Sharma who is in a great form in the ongoing world cup  2019. He has scored a total of 647 runs in eight innings at an average of 92.43. Currently he is the leading run getter in the tournament, and also have scored five centuries in this tournament which is the most number of century in any single edition of the tournament with 3 consecutive hundreds and a half century against Australia. He equalise the Sachin record of scoring 6 hundreds in his world cup career.


After the match between India and Pakistan, at post-match press conference,  Rohit was asked by a Pakistani reporter as to what advice he would give as a colleague to the Pakistan batsmen, which according to the former was undergoing a period of crisis which is being reflected in the results.

Global T20 Canada for Toronto Nationals.

At the time of his retirement, Yuvraj shared his desire of playing in the T20 leagues all around the world, and had asked the BCCI to allow him to play international T20 leagues.

In 231 T20s during his career, Yuvi scored 4857 runs at an average of just over 25 and a strike rate of 128.76. While he has not yet scored a T20 hundred, he has 27 fifties to his name. With the ball, he has picked up 80 batters at an impressive economy rate of 24.86 and a strike rate of 19.2


Other than Yuvraj Singh, Toronto have also signed former New Zealand player Brendon McCullum and West Indies star Keiron Pollard. 
The second season of the GT20 league will begin from July 25 and run till August 11.

Team India once again loose a player due to injury and the tournament turning out difficult as they lost Vijay Shankar from World Cup and he was ruled out from Cricket World Cup 2019 as his ankle got injured in the match against West Indies. He is the second player who is ruled out from the tournament after Sikhar Dhawan for team India. His form was not that good although he could give a good balance to the team with the bat as well as the ball. Mayank Agarwal is selected to replace the injured Vijay Sankar for rest of the matches in the tournament.
Mayank Agarwal may the man playing at no. 4 in the upcoming matches despite of Rishab Pant and Dinesh Kartik and could play a crucial role at the position he plays and hope to make India win the Cricket World  Cup times.

Men in blue  goes orange as per the rules of ICC, the two teams must have their jersey different in terms of colour while playing against one another to differentiate between them. And to avoid the similar colour the ICC have categorised the match of all the team in two groups and are home matches the away matches. In the home matches the team is allowed to wear their regular jerseys whereas on the away matches they must wear the altered jerseys in terms of colour. And we have also seen in the match between Bangladesh and South Africa where the Proteas were in yellow jersey against Bangladesh’s green one.
